  • Museum de Angres

I bring another gallery catch in the form of visiting the museum in Angres (the local pronounce „Angola“). For those who do not know where Angers is, like me, when I went there, it’s in France. Take flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and then take the TGV to Angres. So it was somehow.

The city has a beautiful historic center, plenty of lanes and shops, cafes, and, in short, France and its life as we imagine it.

A visit to the museum is a permanent reminder to me of the whole city. I recorded my visit by mobile, so the pictures are really just illustration. Even so many well-known names are mainly impressionists and other French painters.

  • National Gallery of London

It was a coincidence that she wanted to go to London, so I could not, of course, forget the visit of the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square. As a state institution, free entry is a very popular destination for most tourists, but no flurries like in Louver have taken place. At the entrance, as with most of the sights, you will encounter security turnstiles, which may be the first shock, but when you are slowing everywhere you go, it gets used to it quickly.

The National Gallery of London has the largest bombs not only in British Painting. There are many works of perhaps all the major personalities of the history of Painting. They are from a separate hall of French Impressionists, Dutch and Italian painters and many others. However, the works of English painters, which can not be seen too much like Constable, Turner, are of major importance.

The art paths are doing both for your pleasure and for all who would like to have a beautiful picture at home, so if you want any painting that you like to paint, do not hesitate to contact me.

  • National Museum Poznan

Whether by chance or by chance I always find myself in an absolutely unknown city for me. And because I paint, the first building I look at is always a gallery or a museum. This time, I had the honor to be in Poznan, Poland, and on that occasion I visited the local National Museum .

My Polish begins and ends on a good day’s greeting, and then I continue fluently English. With a self-conscious conviction they looked at me, at least, if I did not want to occupy it here. In short, like an ox. They understood, but answered Polish. After talking with your legs, you will pay 12 polls. I will shorten … in Poland in cash you pay only the Polish currency and I strongly recommend not to withdraw from ATMs but to change your money in advance.

Inside the gallery you will go through the Polish art of the past two centuries, which is hardly visible anywhere else. In old art, there are a few well-known paintings that stand for it. Overall, Poznan is a nice city with a rich history and if you have a way through, it is good to stop.

  • Prague castle exhibition – So buy it!

I visited the exhibition the last day on Sunday December 9, 2018 in the morning. There was a minimum of people at the show, and the tour took about an hour.

The exhibition was unique because the collection of the Prague Castle was to be exhibited for the first time. You will see these pictures only when you visit the Prague Castle area or at a next exhibition.

If you find any image from the show liked so much that you have at home like a painted copy, please contact me.

    1. února – 28. dubna 2019

I visited the exhibition in the picturesque winter weather, when Prague unwinded in snow. The entry of the Imperial Stables is dominated by the exposition of three crown crowns, crowned by Charles IV. Immediately behind the front wall of the hall hang a portrait of Alois Rašín, who oversees visitors here. The entrance can then be enjoyed with bricks of pure gold. On the east side, the golden treasures of the past from different regions of Europe. The most valuable exhibits of the exhibition from the point of view of painting are the banknote designs from many great artists: Alfons Mucha, Max Svabinsky, Cyril Bouda, Karel Svolinsky, Albin Brunovsky or Oldřich Kulhánek.

The top of the exhibition is a 130-kilogram gold coin worth 100 million. In its surroundings are introduced personalities of Czech coinage and medal, whose work can be admired in our own wallet. The most up-to-date exposures are current bank notes of all values and emissions with original designs of 200 and 2000 koruna bills by Oldřich Kulhánek, which originate in 1992 and still bear Czechoslovak characters.

  • What is difference between Copy and reproduction?

Have you ever asked the question of the difference between copy and reproduction? In fact, I had a long goulash, especially in English, where no one saw a difference between these dates. So how is it?

What is the difference between copies and reproductions?

If we only hold images or sculpture, then the copy means creating a totally identical work in size and technique of execution. Thus, in images, it is a technically identical work, not just the picture as such, but also its background is the board or canvas prepared as well as the original. On the other hand, reproduction is copying but not with this technique. That is, the paintings are mainly the printing – on paper, on canvas and now also on canvas oil painting. Sculpture can be casting, for example. Reproduction is not a human being.

Creating a copy is inherently challenging on the ability and knowledge of the history of art. If the original is available, it is possible to make a copy directly, for example, directly in the museum (note the same or similar size in museums). In addition, copies may be created to replace the original on the exposed site as a protection against damage or theft. The quality of such copies is at the original and only professional level.

From the painter’s point of view, we distinguish the copies to be free and technological. The free copy is usually similar to the original, the same techniques or dimensions are not used. Most commonly, free copies are painted by painters for pleasure or for their own study, and they are similar to the view. The processing of technological copies is an attempt to respect the original painting process, the preparation of the substrate and the final appearance of the image. If you are a painter, it is mainly about understanding the techniques of painting, learning techniques and the final look that can be very successful is a nice bonus. For the painter, copying the most often old masters is a form of learning, it has always been, and today, the art academies contain the conclusion of their painting programs according to the old masters.

What does this mean for me, who I am not an artist, but do I want to have a picture at home that I like?
Inu, you can buy a very cheap reproduction (such as Canvas Print) and you can be happy J. But if you’ve ever visited a gallery and seen real originals, no reproductions around the world will look at real painting and the feeling will not just replace it. If you have a public room such as an office, a guesthouse, a pub or you want an impression to visit at home, there is a real painting on the right. What kind of picture you like or which you choose as an add-on to your interior is just your taste or choice with advice. And if you are a true enthusiast and lover of art, you have a favorite image (which in most cases you can not buy) is painting a copy of the way to please the eye and soul.
